Match Personnel Skills to Preventive Maintenance Tasks. Assign up to 18 different skills with MaintSmart. As with most aspects of MaintSmart lets you define the skills appropriate to your maintenance operation. These skill definitions may be edited at anytime as needed. Later PM tasks are matched to required skills. This functionality is used by MaintSmart to determine if the person assigned to maintain a work area (group of equipment items) has the skills to properly handle the job assignment(s). MaintSmart uses a unique method of matching personnel skills to PM tasks. Simply assign the user defined skills appropriate to each maintenance engineer's capabilities. Next associate these skills with the tasks contained in this maintenance engineer's PM task list. This process is very fast and simple to adjust later if necessary. By pressing the Analyze button you can obtain the ratio of skills possessed by this maintenance engineer to the skillls needed to complete work on the equipment under this person's area of responsibility (work area).
